About the Qing Government and the Manchu People ...The Qing Government was led by the Manchu aristocrats and based on the coalition of Manchu and Mongolian aristocrats and Han Chinese literati-gentry, as well as other elites of over 50 different ethnic groups. Over a long period of 268 years, the minority Manchu people (0.5% of China’s population) governed a big country with diverse cultures through indirect rule and promotion of enlightened social policies such as lowering of tax rate, redistribution of land to landless Han Chinese peasants, establishment of extensive social welfare networks, promotion of religious tolerance and cultural integration. Since the 1911 anti-Manchu Rebellion, and till the collapse of the Chinese Nationalist regime (1949), Manchu people has been branded as “foreign invaders of Chinese territory,” “oppressors of Chinese people” and “traitors who sold out Chinese national interests to the Devils from the Ocean” (a discriminatory term originally coined by Cantonese speakers meaning the Western Christian missionaries and merchants who arrived in China during the Qing Dynasty, especially British and Americans); and a lot of Manchus had to hide their ethnic identity to avoid political persecution, racial discrimination, indiscriminate and outright massacre. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, the conditions of the Manchu people started to improve; however, the Manchu Civilization suffered serious damage during the Cultural Revolution. In the last decades, Chinese Government and scholars started to recognize the contributions made by the Manchu people and the Qing Government to China’s progress, and many documentary and fictional movies have been uploaded to China’s Central TV Station’s website to give a more objective account of the true history of China, of the Qing Government and of the Manchu people.

The Outer-space Squirrel Drama
In the Outer-space Squirrel Drama story, a group of squirrels, passionate about new life in outer space, decided to form an Outer Space Squirrel Drama Team and fly out of the Earth. They invented their own helicopters with wings, propellers and rotors, all connected to heat-resistant shells made of composites that fit their bodies, and started their journey to extraterrestrial space. They hovered over the mountains, grasslands and oceans, bidding farewell to their fellow squirrels waiting for their return to the Earth. The Outer Space Squirrel Drama Team, once out of the gravity of the Planet Earth, started to explore the much wider, quitter and emptier outer space. They met extraterrestrial creatures, angels, ghosts, sang and danced with them; and they traveled through the Andromeda Black Hole to reach the Heavenly Garden of Eden. Upon return to the Earth, members of the Outer Space Squirreldron team talked about their magic encounters to their fellows.
